looking after blonde hair

To take care of blonde hair, consider the following tips:

1. Use purple shampoo: Purple shampoo helps to neutralize any brassy tones in blonde hair, keeping it looking fresh and vibrant. We recommend Wella Blonde Recharge shampoo. Remember, don't overdo it with the purple shampoo!

2. Deep condition regularly: Blonde hair can be more prone to dryness and damage, so using a deep conditioning treatment once a week can help keep it healthy and hydrated. Our favourite product to look after those locks is Wella Ultimate Repair: the hair rescue spray is perfect to apply after every hair wash. Using a hair mask once a week is also a great start to looking after your hair.

3. Protect from heat: Use heat protectant products before using hot tools like straighteners or curling irons to prevent damage to your blonde hair.

4. Trim regularly: Regular trims help to prevent split ends and keep your blonde hair looking healthy and free from breakage.

5. Avoid over-washing: Washing your hair too frequently can strip it of its natural oils, leading to dryness. Try to wash your hair every 2-3 days instead.

6. Protect from the sun: Just like your skin, your blonde hair can be damaged by the sun's UV rays. Consider wearing a hat or using a UV protectant spray when spending time outdoors.

7. Maintenance toner: Between your appointments, book in for a Blondorplex toner. Not only will this maintain your blonde tone but it also builds bonds within the hair, making it softer, shinier, healthier and reducing breakage.

By following these tips, you can keep your blonde hair looking beautiful and healthy.
